At John Ireland the kids honor their Grandparents with a Spring program. However, this year they had to reschedule the spring program because the choir director was ill and in the hospital. So the kids did a much smaller version of the program and had the full band perform all their songs and the choir just 3 songs. Afterward they served cookies and punch and the grandparents were invited to see the kids' rooms. My mom was able to come for it and the kids did a great job.

Natalie's Party-Part 2
We continued celebrating Natalie's birthday along with Caitlin's with the grandparents and Godparents. Natalie chose "Brave" as her theme and Caitlin just went along with it. :) It was a good party with good people and good food. One more party to throw and we'll be done with our May birthday celebrations.

Natalie's Birthday Celebration
Natalie had a great birthday. She woke up to sunshine, had lunch with her friend Courtney at McDonalds, took a nap, opened presents (a special one from her sisters), ate noodles at Noodles & Co. and had dessert at Cherry Berry. Now she's looking forward to her actual party with Grandparents/Godparent on Sunday. The theme she picked out is Brave-and she wants a Merida cake. Hope it turns out!

Fantastic Four!
Happy Birthday to Natalie!! Today she turned 4 years old! Wow! Doesn't seem like it was that long ago we welcomed her into this world. Natalie is so much fun to have around. She makes us all laugh with her funny facial expressions. She has the most beautiful sparkling blue eyes. She's a great big sister to Lauren, always willing to help out and she's a great little sister learning lots from her big sisters, the good and the bad! She's our little blonde haired Brian. She looks so much like him. :) She loves to help bake with mom, help dad with house construction, play polly pockets, dress up, play card games and board games. She loves Preschool and riding her bike and scooter. She still doesn't like to sleep in her bed unless she has someone with her or she will sneak into Emily's bed. She's very social and wants to know where we are going everyday. Is a bit disappointed when we stay home. :) Loves to snack, doesn't particularly like to eat meat and loves dessert. She'll nap but not always willingly. She loves to watch Rescue Bots, Pound Puppies, He-Man and Dragon Tales. She's also very strong willed and stubborn and can throw quite the fit when she wants to, which thankfully isn't all that often. We are so blessed to have this little girl in our lives. We Love you Nat-Nat!

Cute hat!
Lauren received this hat from our resort manager at Kee-nee-moo-sha, Cathy. Isn't it cute! At first I didn't think Lauren would be able to wear it but since the weather was so crappy and cold she's been able to! Adorable! Thank you Cathy! See you in August!!!!

Lauren & Michael's 1st date
My friend Sharon & her son met Lauren and I for lunch at El Agave, the kids' first date. They were spectacular and Sharon & I were able to have a nice conversation. After lunch they came over and we had a little photo shoot. Michael was all smiles and Lauren...well, she wasn't!

It's my party & i'll cry if I want to..NOT!!
Well, the day has come and gone...my birthday. (my 28th) It was cold, rainy and snowy. BUT, I had an awesome day!! Got to go to May crowning at school with Caitlin, Emily & Rachel. Brian took me, Natalie & Lauren out for coffee & caramel roll at the co-op. Met my parents at Panera for a yummy warm lunch. Made birthday cupcakes with Natalie in the afternoon (choc/cream cheese/ch chip). Had flowers delivered from my family. And for dinner the family took me to Patricks for a beer & sandwich, the Helga, my favorite! A day of no cooking and no dishes. And the girls were kind and thoughtful. What more could a girl ask for?
