It took shopping at a few stores before Caitlin found this beauty! It was perfect! Grandma Elaine had to do a few adjustments and it turned out perfect. Caitlin is just so beautiful, inside and out. Her date was Will Tauer. He and Caitlin went with friends, Amelia and Kyle to our house for dinner. Kyle's mom picked up dinner and the kids ate out in the new reading room. It was a bit chilly but really fun and pretty. The parents hung out by the patio and visited while the kids ate. After, we headed to the Arboretum at GAC and took pictures.

Fun in April
Emily baking...and actually trying out a "life hack"-note paper plate used as a splash guard
The 3rd Grade class leading prayer
Baby OLIVIA MARY is here!!! And Brian and I get to be her Godparents! What an honor and blessing! Congrats to the Crowley's! She's perfect.
Brian taking off his finger....it sort of runs in the family 😂
He actually caught it with the saw..just a few stitches. And he drove himself to the ER...
Lilly and Lauren making a Kason sandwich. They love this kid!! And he doesn't mind all the love he gets from the girls!
Sometimes Lauren and I get a little alone time when Lilly is sleeping. Its definitely needed!
And we finally got our built ins! I LOVE THEM!!!!!!! The company we had do them did a fantastic job and matched our kitchen cabinets perfectly. Its exactly what we envisioned when we remodeled a few years ago.
Friday Family Fun Night!! We haven't had one of these in a while so it was fun to head out and go bowling! Lilly loved dancing and trying to catch the lights on the floor. Not sure if the older three had as much fun as the rest of us! They must be getting too "cool" for this sort of fun!
Natalie as "Walt Disney" during her 3rd grade presentations. They all did a fabulous job telling about who they were and what they did. Very interesting stuff!
Walt Disney, Amelia Earhardt, Rosa Parks, Joan of Arc, Oprah Winfrey, ?, Stan Lee, Pope Francis, Mother Theresa
Natalie making her Student Council Poster- Vote for Nat
Rachel reading her essay to the Catholic Daughters during their meeting.

Easter Sunday 2018
Why is it that every Easter is cold here in MN. Thinking back with fond memories of last year when we were in San Diego getting ready for mass in the morning, wearing our short sleeve dresses and searching for eggs around the pool, which we later swam in after our Easter meal. Ahhhhh....
Maybe we should consider that in 2019! But, the girls did have fun searching for eggs in the back yard and I guess we can't complain. The snow is gone. :) And there's always enough candy!

March 2018
March came in like a lion and will hopefully leave like a lamb! St. Peter received 7-8" of fresh fluffy white stuff and the kids didn't complain! The chickens may have however! It was nice to see but really we are ready for spring!
Lillian not afraid to climb up on and jump off of anything she can....let's hope we can get thru childhood with no broken bones.
Rachel's 6th grade project for the LOI Live Auction! What a fun, fun project! It was super fun to put together even though we put a lot of time into it. The 6th graders did a great job coming up with all the property names, chance questions and community chest questions. I think it pulled in over $400!
This was the 3rd graders project- a cool "artsy" puzzle. This was also fun to make!
Our bookends-twinsies with pig tails
Emily's 9th grade winter choir concert

Natalie's before and after at the LOI Fun Run! She did great! It was sooo cold!
Lilly and Lauren having a little fun at Johnson Hall during a "preview" of the auction items
Our selfie queen...Rachel likes to take random selfies on our phones. Sometimes they are quite beautiful like this one and other times just plain silly!
Chasing away some winter blues at the Children's museum in Mankato! We love this place!
Rachel was chosen (3rd place) in the Catholic Daughter's Essay contest. Here she got to read her essay to the school. 1st place was Jared and 2nd was Brooke.
Ok, spring.....Easter is here! Lillian actually had fun decorating this year and had to do it by herself, a common theme with this one. The girls are so organized in how they set up colors and the designs the choose for their eggs. It's quite impressive.
Gymnastics Banquet March 26, 2018
What a fun evening filled with tears and uplifting words from Coach Kris. Both the girls know they aren't the greatest at gymnastics but they plug away improving ever so slightly and learning new skills being coached by one of the best. She loves what she does and she loves the kids!
