Lillian's Baptism

We had a wonderful celebration of Lillian's baptism.  Most of the extended family was able to make it and quite a few of our friends we invited as well.  Lillian was a super good baby!

Daddy Daughter Dance-Natalie

Natalie had the privelege of going on a very special date with Brian...the Daddy/Daughter dance.

She was so excited that this year was her year to go.  She and I went shopping for a special dress and shoes and the accessories to go with.  She made a super cute choice and looked very beautiful.    

I love these two pictures...Natalie was so excited to get flowers from her Dad and the other picture of them smiling at each other was just too sweet.  She could hardly contain her happiness!

Emily middle school play "The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza'

Emily had a good time participating in this year's Middle School play.  It was actually pretty entertaining and all the kids did a fantastic job!  She met some new friends, laughed alot and learned the in's and out's of theater.  I like that she tried something new and wasn't afraid to do it.

Lauren's Birthday

                  

Happy 3 year Birthday Lauren!  this spunky little kid is so much fun to be around.  She's got lots of humor, love and sass all wrapped up in a tiny little body.  She is a very stubborn and persistent child.  I can't believe how often I argue with her or tell her "no" when shes asked me for something a million times!  Reverse psychology is not working with this one.  It's one of the many things I love about being a parent-every kid is different and parenting strategies are always getting tweaked.  Lauren really is the epitome of JOY in our house however.  We are constantly laughing at this kid with her whit and cuteness.  And those beautiful big blue eyes melt our hearts!  She is also still singing or talking ALL the time which makes Brian and I smile.

Lillian-1 month

Lillian is 1 month old and such a sweetie pie!  Still getting used to having an infant in the house again and the sleepless nights.  The girls are still fighting over who gets to hold her but we know that will soon end when the newness wears off.  Lauren is the only one that doesn't get too close to Lillian.  She's a bit more hesitant to touch her or to even look at her.  She's not jealous of her that we can tell, just not interested??  My guess is that they will be the best of friends once Lilly's more alert and responsive to her surroundings.

Going home!

Lilly and I had a little alone time before Brian and the crew arrived to take us home.  Life with 6 kids can't be a whole lot different than 5 right?  Back to sleepless nights, numerous feedings and lots of baby cuddle time in and amongst the rest of the chaos happening at our house.  Should be a fun and memorable time in our lives!  Brian and I realized that bringing home a new baby wasn't exactly as exciting for some of our kids as it used to be.  Caitlin and Emily apparantly thought we could handle it without them and they elected to stay home. :)  But once we arrived home we settled right in, passing Lillian from one sister to the next.
